Happy Birthday Hubby

As we both love to eat and try new cuisines, we grab any excuse to go out and have a good meal.

Hubby loves french cuisine and since it was his birthday we chose a very old and well known french restaurant in Poole called the Guildhall Tavern for his birthday treat. The restaurant being along the coastline specialises in seafood.
We had a lovely fishy meal of fresh oysters & herring roes for starters, followed by sea bass flambe’d in pernod & monkfish medallions in a spicy lobster bisque for mains, accompanied with a bottle of french rose wine Cote de provence 2006. For dessert we had the intense chocolate parfait.
